Use a commemorative badge to identify viewers who attended significant events you streamed and capture them on camera. This product is currently in beta for a small group of Partners & Affiliates. To evaluate and enhance this product, we will gather input throughout the beta period.
Beta-access creators can produce up to five moments per month for viewers. A Moments badge linking to a clip will be presented to viewers. The Moments badge will change as your subscribers gather more info and memories on your channel. In the track where they are unlocked, moments are displayed as a part of the viewer’s chat identity. Moments are subject to the exact international legal requirements as clips, including the DMCA.
Approaches
Creating moments when streaming can be done in two ways:
- Through Swift Action
- Utilizing Chat Command
Both approaches will provide a standard Clip of the event that live viewers can claim. The Moments badge with the accompanying footage will be made available to viewers when they have claimed the moment. Only the web browser on a PC, Mac, or Twitch Studio may create moments. After adding your Quick Action, you can use the “Make it a Moment” button to go live and immediately start moments:
- Hover your mouse over the Make It a Moment button.
- To get a preview of the captured moment, click.
To give your viewers the chance to claim the Moments badge with the clip attached, click on Create Moment in step 3.
For gamers that enjoy gaming’s social component, Twitch is the place to be. On their Twitch channels, some of the best gamers in the world show off their prowess for their followers; for some, this occurs practically constantly. The best Twitch streamers can accomplish this because they can earn a good living by playing video games and commenting on their progress. It might surprise you to learn that a sizable portion of Generation Z prefers to watch others play video games over actually playing them. It’s evident from this that Twitch streamers that are more well-known can effectively amuse their audience. More so than for the enjoyment of watching the game, the audience is there for the analysis and discussion.
E-Sports have a huge following and even have their television stations. Beyond the income they receive from their Twitch feeds, these broadcasters can significantly increase their earnings by winning their championship games.
